Our Artist Alley serves as a bustling marketplace where Zambian artists, both seasoned and emerging, converge to unveil their masterpieces and share their unique visions with an enthusiastic audience. The Artist Alley is not merely a marketplace; it is a vibrant hub of creativity and inspiration, where artists draw inspiration from each other’s work and collaborate on new projects. It fosters a sense of community and camaraderie, where artists support and uplift one another, sharing tips, techniques, and insights gleaned from their own artistic journeys.

Join the excitement of our latest Nerd Otaku activity, “Find the item.” only at AniMeet. Grab your detective gear and track down hidden items scattered around. It’s a race against time, and the winners snag awesome prizes from our beloved vendors. Get ready for some fun and adventure!
Maid Cafe
A café for food, games and cosplay, inspired by meido kissa or meido kafe a subcategory of cosplay restaurants found predominantly in Japan. Our café will have a small stage where the maids will perform and also take pictures with the customers.
Anime Trivia
How well do you think you know your anime? Well, why don’t you come and find out. Team up with fellow enthusiasts and destroy the opposition with your encyclopedic knowledge of anime. Trivia is back this Animeet and we look forward to your participation.
Board Games
Uno, Bingo, checkmate, tsume Shogi, times up, my turn , are just a few words you will hear from board-game enthusiasts. With a collection of tabletop, role play, miniature, and card games. Participants will engage in a world full of creativity, mechanics, strategy and fun with our boardgames collection in real time. Come, play and interact with fellow players at this years Animeet.
Karaoke
2024 AniMeet Karaoke will be slightly different from the norm but will also leave room for the norm. We’ll have challenge rounds after every 5 performances. A challenge round starts and a catergory is picked at random, and the whoever takes up the challenge gets to sing a song that fits the category this will go on during the entire karaoke session.

Why Video Game Adaptations are Hollywood’s Next Cash Cow
The intersection between “gamers” and film and TV enthusiasts is as close to a circle as the most competent draftsman could conjure. It is strange, then, that Hollywood producers and executives have struggled to competently capitalize on this ready made market. For decades, the prevailing and somewhat successful strategy was to commission game studios and developers to create a tie-in video game to release day and date, with its live action counterpart. The idea being that the hype surrounding the release of the film, usually on opening weekends, would propel the licensed video game to similar sales numbers and maybe even critical acclaim.
